Adelie Foods Expands Daily Bread Range with Strong Hot Food Offer

Adelie Foods’ dedication to developing quality, on-trend products continues with a refresh of its very successful Daily Bread range, including more hot and cold food options to meet the evolving needs of cafés and coffee shops.

First launched in March 2017, the original 17-strong product line-up was developed based on consumer research and has proven hugely successful for Adelie – particularly in the café and independent coffee shop market. The new and expanded range, with 26 competitively priced products, has been created to further satisfy the needs of the café sector.

The range has evolved to include more breakfast options, including Bacon Rolls and Sausage Baps, as well as toasties, panini’s and hot wraps, such as the Ham & Cheese Sourdough Toastie and the Chicken Fajita Toasted Wrap. Cold-eating options include bloomer and skillet sandwiches in a number of best-selling flavour combinations.

Daily Bread was conceived to offer retailers and hospitality operators the kind of quality hand-crafted, artisan-style products that consumers increasingly expect to find on the high street and enables businesses without the on-site space to prepare fresh food from scratch to give customers greater options and variety, but with a sense of homemade care and quality.

The packaging’s unbranded craft design in brown natural and earthy tones also offers a premium look and feel to reflect the values of artisan craftsmanship and home cooking.

Isla Owen, Senior Marketing Manager at Adelie Foods, said: “After the success of our first Daily Bread range, we’ve listened to customer feedback to develop the new collection for this year in a variety of formats and price points. In coffee shops, hot eats outsell cold eats 3:1, so we’re confident our new range will satisfy the needs of coffee shops and cafés as must-stock items.

“With an ever-increasing variety of lunchtime options available to consumers, it has never been more essential for operators – particularly smaller businesses – to offer customers a product that can compete against the leading high street brands in terms of quality and cost.

“In addition, to ensure quality the range is produced in small batches, and our carefully crafted recipes are created using only the finest breads, best proteins and freshest produce. And while our products taste great, the simple deli-style packaging has been an important factor in the success of the range. Our thoughtfully designed packaging ensures that businesses can readily convey to customers the quality and reliability of the food on their shelves as handmade and produced on-the-day without the need for elaborate branding or promotion.”
